These are the fees RizPay charges people who use the app, with worked examples.
Fees
- Airtime, data, electricity and cable TV
No RizPay fee
You pay the price shown in the app, which already includes any discount. If a purchase fails, the money goes back to your wallet automatically.
- Opening an account
Free
There is no sign-up fee and no monthly fee.
- Adding money by bank transfer, verified accounts
Free
Up to 1 transfer a day and 3 a week, to your account number in the app. Verification means confirming your BVN and NIN.
- Other transfers into your wallet
Processing fee
Transfers beyond the free ones, or before you verify, carry a percentage processing fee with a cap. The Add Money screen shows the rate and the cap before you send.
- Withdrawing to your bank
1%, at least ₦100, at most ₦500
Withdrawals are open to verified accounts. The fee can be higher for an account flagged for unusual activity. The withdrawal screen always shows the exact fee and the total before you confirm.
- Stamp duty on withdrawals of ₦10,000 or more
₦50
A government charge on electronic transfers. Since 2026 the sender pays it. We collect it with the withdrawal and pass it on.

The full amount you withdraw reaches your bank. The fee and any stamp duty come from your wallet on top.
